Part 4 leading up to the Boston Marathon. 💛Join me in a typical day of eating to hit quality protein, carbs and fats. 👏🏼Hitting my daily macros always fuels my body AND speeds up my recovery, especially during marathon training.🥣Pre-Workout Meal: A source of slow digestive carbs such as oatmeal, quality protein, I use Level-1 protein, with mixed fruit is yummy plus a fully loaded nutritional meal. This allows a steady release of energy to keep me energized throughout my workout. Plus protein before an intense workout can improve athletic performance.🥤 Post Workout Shake: 1P Phormula-1 and Ignition aids with refilling your glycogen storage plus has fast digesting protein that ignites muscle growth, and reduces soreness and recovery. Link in bio! 🔗🍳 A 2 egg scramble, mixed with chicken and veggies is loaded with nutrients, such as potassium, vitamins, protein and essential fatty acids.🍫 I love my level-1 protein bars as a mid-day snack that is an instant 20g of protein and comes in a variety of flavors. A good way to replace sweets and candy bars.🍗 My lunch always includes some sort of protein (chicken, ground turkey, lean beef, etc), a side of veggies and most times rice or quinoa.🍛 Dinner time!! One of my favorite meals to get creative. This usually rotates depending on if I still need to hit some of my macros. This meal consists of crab stuffed salmon, side of baked veggies and a nutritious carb such as sweet Potatoes.🥬❤️ My night cap consists of reds, greens and magnesium! This trio promotes gut health, improves blood flood, contains powerful antioxidant, and delivers nutrients efficiently.
